I own my home in Warragul and I’m newly arrived in a wonderful phase of life: adult children, and more time freedom than I’ve had in a long time. I already run my own business, built over more than 20 years, and Left in Good Hands is something fun I’ve added alongside it: spending part of my days with other people’s animals while I’m in between pets of my own.
I really enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality: happiest curled up beside you, independent, shy, or full of energy. Whether it’s a dog walk, a visit to feed and check in on your pets, or staying overnight in your home, I ask plenty of questions first, so I can customise everything to what you want and what your pet(s) need and enjoy.
Because my work is mostly online, when I’m house sitting I can bring it with me, so your pets get plenty of company throughout the day.
Finding the right person to walk your dog, or to look after your home and pets, is an important decision, so I want you to know that I treat every job with real care and attention. And I love sending photos and updates along the way, so you always know how things are going.

Every walk is tailored to your needs and your dog’s. Whether that’s plenty of exercise to burn off energy, a slower pace with time to sniff and explore, or simply company and a change of scenery. I’ll talk with you first about what you and your dog actually need, and walk accordingly.
You’ll get at least one photo from every walk, plus a map from my walking app showing exactly where we went. If you’re curious about the details, I can also share the full stats: distance, pace, and duration, so you know exactly how your dog’s walk went.
Every visit is tailored to you and your pets. I’ll take care of feeding, fresh water, litter trays and enclosures, with time left over for cuddles and company, based on what suits you and what your pet enjoys. You’ll receive a photo and a message with every visit, so you’ll know all is well.
I stay overnight in your home, giving your pets company, comfort and their normal routine in familiar surroundings. One flat rate covers the whole household, however many pets you have.

Each walk is one-on-one, so your dog gets my full attention. If you have multiple dogs you’d like walked together, our first step is a trial walk. Contact me to book that in.
Yes, once we’re back, I’ll send at least one photo and a map of the route. If you’re interested, I can also share stats like speed and pace.
I’m not a dog trainer, and I won’t introduce new commands or techniques. I follow whatever routine, cues and habits are already working for you and your dog.
House visits are $25. Overnight house sitting/pet sitting is $50 per night, with one flat rate covering your whole household.
Visits are up to 30 minutes, enough time to cover feeding, litter trays, fresh water and a bit of cuddle or play time. Exactly how that time is spent depends on your pets. A visit to feed fish looks very different to a visit with cuddley cats.
Yes, as part of a house visit or house sit, I can water your indoor and outdoor plants, collect mail and parcels, and manage bin day (out and back in), so everything’s looked after, not just your pets.
Yes, birds, rabbits, horses and other pets are all welcome. If you have a pet I haven’t mentioned, contact me and we can talk through what’s involved.
No. One flat rate covers your whole household, however many pets you have.
For multiple pets, often yes: kennels and catteries typically charge per animal, while I charge one flat rate for your whole household. Your pets also stay in their own home, with me focused on them alone, rather than one of many animals being looked after at once.
